Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing or using the Shadow Clone Chrome Extension or any associated services (collectively, the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Shadow Clone is a technical tool that relays trading signals from TradingView to Tradovate accounts via a Chrome Extension. The Service is not a broker, investment advisor, or trading platform. Shadow Clone does not execute trades on your behalf; the Extension running in your browser sends orders to Tradovate using your own credentials and tokens.

3. Not Financial Advice

Nothing provided by Shadow Clone constitutes financial, investment, or trading advice. All trading decisions are made by you. You are solely responsible for any trades executed through the Service, including any profits or losses.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• Ensuring your TradingView alerts and Tradovate account settings are correctly configured
• Complying with all rules and policies of your prop firm(s)
• Understanding the risks of automated trading
• Monitoring your positions and account balances

5. No Guarantee of Execution

Shadow Clone does not guarantee that any trade signal will be received, forwarded, or executed. Delays, errors, network interruptions, Tradovate API changes, or system failures may prevent or delay trade execution. See our Risk Disclosure for details.

6. Account and Data

You must provide a valid email address to register. Your Tradovate passwords and tokens are stored locally in your browser and are never transmitted to our server. Our server stores only account metadata (account names, prop firm identifiers, connection status) necessary to relay signals.

7. Prohibited Use

You may not use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Circumvent prop firm rules or trading restrictions
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shadow Clone and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, trading losses, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Service.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the Extension and deleting your account.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
